Love and Lemons
A little fairy tale
Long before people remembered to make wishes, there was a hidden garden where lemons did not grow on trees. They appeared wherever kindness had been shared without expecting anything in return.
An old gardener watched over them, but as the years passed, he realized people had forgotten where joy lived. So he gathered the brightest lemons he could find and placed them in a white bowl. He tucked a few into a tall green vase and carried them to a lonely little house with a single black chair by the window.
Every evening, the chair waited.
One day, a young woman wandered in, tired from carrying the weight of always trying to be enough. She sat quietly, and as the last light spilled through the window, one lemon rolled gently onto the floor.
She picked it up.
It was warm.
Not warm from the sun, but from every kind word that had ever been spoken to someone who needed it.
Another lemon rolled. Then another.
Soon they were scattered everywhere, glowing like tiny golden lanterns.
The flowers in the vase, which had bowed their heads from waiting so long, slowly lifted toward the light. The room filled with a gentle peace—not loud happiness, but the kind that settles into your heart and quietly says, You are home.
The woman smiled without knowing why.
Before she left, the old gardener whispered,
"Love is a curious thing. The more you gather it, the more it escapes the bowl and finds its way into every corner."
When she turned around to thank him, he was gone.
Only the chair remained.
It is said that if you ever find a room with lemons glowing in impossible places, don't tidy them away too quickly. One of them carries a little piece of love meant just for you, waiting until you're ready to bring it home.

A little fairy tale
There is an old saying that plums only ripen where secrets are safe.
Hidden at the edge of an enchanted orchard stood a tiny cottage where every visitor was welcomed with a bowl of deep purple plums. No one knew where they came from. Each morning, the bowl was full again.
The keeper of the cottage had only one rule:
"Take a plum only if you are willing to leave behind a worry."
Most people laughed. A piece of fruit could never carry away sadness.
But they took one anyway.
A woman who had forgotten how to dream left behind her fear of beginning again. A young boy traded his loneliness for curiosity. Two old friends quietly placed years of silence into the bowl without speaking a word.
The plums grew sweeter with every burden they absorbed.
One evening, as the last light touched the windows, the bowl overflowed. A few plums rolled gently across the table, their skins glowing like tiny jewels. The flowers leaned closer, as if listening to the stories they carried.
The keeper smiled.
"You see," she whispered, "happiness isn't something we find. It's what appears when we make room for it."
And from that day on, people stopped calling it a bowl of plums.
They called it The Bowl of Second Chances.
It is said that if you ever come across a table where the plums seem just a little too beautiful to be ordinary, choose one with care. It may ask for nothing more than a single worry in return—and leave you with a heart light enough to begin again.

Vessels and Branches explores the quiet relationship between structure and movement.
